In this piece, I infused the quiet, almost whispering streets of an old town with the vibrant language of watercolors and the defining strokes of pencil and charcoal. My attempt was to capture the essence of a moment suspended in time, using expressionism to evoke the emotions tied to these historic spaces. The juxtaposition of the tempera brings out an ethereal light, setting a mood both reflective and serene. This artwork invites viewers into a dance between the old and the emotive, bringing a breath of introspective elegance to any space.
