I painted these two landscapes in tempera on paper ten years ago, when I moved into a residence for young working people in Bagneux, in the southern suburbs of Paris. My style has evolved a lot since then, but I’m glad to have found them again.
When I was painting this church in the street, a homeless man came to look at my work. He said to me: “It’s even prettier than the chocolate church in the pastry shop window!”
