Painting with a French classic yacht from the series inspired by traditional sailing boats in Normandy (France).

I focused in these maritime paintings on studying the relationships between the colour of the sea, the sky and the sails, at different times of the day. It’s amazing how the colours change, like in a kaleidoscope!

Here it’s the evening light, with the sun’s rays appearing behind clouds, after the storm, and reflected in the waves. This contrast is dramatic, but gives hope.
