This accordion book,
an orihon, talks about this peculiar feeling of having a  gloomy, humid,
dark and almost oppressing weather for a long time and that suddenly
the snow falls. ❄❄❄ Time stops and everything becomes beamingly white,
clean and deeply silent. And even the cantoner gets distracted from his
work and starts dreaming. ⛄ This book is multi-layered, and to see
certain objects clearly, you sometimes need to touch the sheet of
transparent paper in order to compress it and make the shapes clear.
Depending on the position of the pages, objects first become clearly
visible, and then blurred again.

I wanted to create a contrast
between an ordinary and boring cover and something magical that suddenly
opens inside, like the first snowfall.
