This wooden book-retable tells the story of a city child discovering the village world.
The book was created from the impressions of my childhood. I grew up in an apartment that I rarely left. Nevertheless, I have always loved nature, animals and was very sensitive to the beauty of the architecture of traditional houses. Growing up in these overprotected conditions always intimidated me a bit in making contact with people from “outside”.
In this book I wanted to find a way to show by relief sculpture the moment of the meeting of characters from two different, almost from opposed worlds.
