In creating this piece, I endeavored to blend the mystical with the maritime in a surreal symphony. The radiant star, a beacon of guidance and hope, illuminates the path for the spirited sailors below. Crafted in tempera to lend a dreamlike texture, the artwork symbolizes guidance, promise, and exploration. Its enigmatic allure invites viewers to embark on their own journeys of discovery, infusing any space with a sense of wonder and celestial awe.

In this work, I wanted to capture the essence of the quest and the guiding light of hope.

The focal point of the artwork unfolds as three magi, draped in resplendent robes, embark upon a majestic tall ship. The vessel, adorned with the Star in its sails, becomes a vessel of spiritual significance, emblematic of an extraordinary journey.
The ochre and sand tones create an ethereal ambiance, as if the very essence of a desert dawn envelopes the scene. The soft hues of white and light grey infuse the painting with a sense of celestial purity, while touches of orange and pink hint at the celestial wonders ahead.
This painting is a visual allegory, inviting contemplation on the enduring symbolism of the Magi’s voyage, their pursuit of knowledge, and the cosmic guidance encapsulated in the Sailor’s Star.
This painting
seems to have turned out to be the most luminous, delicate and subtle
image of the frigate Shtandart that I have painted so far.
