This is my very first painting on canvas painted in Paris, at that point in my life I had to make a crucial decision : I had only four days to decide whether if I should definitely return  home to Saint-Petersburg or try and manage my own way in France.

Every one of us has some moments like this one in his/her life.

Everybody seems sometimes like this brave little horseman in the middle of the picture, making his way through the thick forest to reach his dreams.
